CFF101's Tiger Woods Thread (Playing: 2005)

OK, I'm back to playing 2005 now, which is easier than 2004, thanks to a couple of tools that 2004 doesn't have. First off, you can move the ball forward or back in your stance, which allows you to have either less spin or more spin. I hardly ever put the ball back in my stance, but I put it forward quite often. It's a big help on fast greens, when you want the ball to stop much quicker, which allows you to stop the ball much closer to the hole, thus making for many more birdie chances. Also, there's no Tiger Proofing in 2004. I left off at The Player's Championship, and had completed the first two rounds. Here are the scores for rounds 3 and 4:

Round 3: 49 (-23)

Round 4: 51 (-21)

Next up, the Emerald Dragon Challenge. I HATE this course

I start off with rounds of 49 (-24) and 55 (-18). Round one tied my best round at Emerald Dragon ;D

And I finish up with rounds of 53 (-20) and 54 (-19). Next up, The Southern Major Championship (The Masters), but since there's no Augusta on any golf game, Fancourt Links will host this tournament.

OK, here are my round scores for the HTI:

Round 1: 51 (-20)

Round 2: 50* (-21)

Round 3: 49* (-22)

Round 4: 51 (-20)

Double eagle #57 was recorded in round 2, although it technically didn't count, because I ended up starting the round over. But, since I didn't reset the PS2 before re-starting the 2nd round, the double eagle stayed on my records.

Ace #186 was recorded in round 3 ;D

Now it's on to the Waterfront Challenge, with rounds at Pebble Beach, Paradise Cove, Turnberry GC, and Greek Isles.

And on another note, it would appear that when you go to the record screen on TW 2005 (where you see what your best scores and such have been on each course), it doesn't remember them all. I just noticed that recently when I shot 49 at Emerald Dragon, there were two 49's on the screen, but now it only has one listed. So, yet another game glitch to add to the list
