Two men are suing to stop the opening of the Large Hadron Collider, a huge atom smasher that scientists plan to use in their research. The men claim that use of the atom smasher could potentially destroy the world either by creating new particles that transform anything they touch, engulfing the earth, or by creating a black hole that consumes the entire planet.
FYI, the credentials of the two men that are suing are questionable.
